More of Queen Elizabeth's Grandchildren, including Prince Harry and Prince William, Stand Vigil Next to Her Coffin

In a vigil on Sept. 17, Queen Elizabeth II's eight grandchildren, including Prince Harry, Prince William, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and others, paid their respects to their late grandmother. The grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II are paying tribute to their beloved grandmother.

On Sept. 17, the queen's eight grandchildren, including King Charles III's sons Prince William and Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Lady Louise Windsor, and James, Vicount Severn, gathered in Westminster Hall at the Palace of Westminster in London to pay their respects to Her Majesty. The vigil comes just over a week after Queen Elizabeth died on September 8th, at the age of 96.

The new Prince of Wales, William, led his cousins inside. He stood at the head of the coffin for 15 minutes, flanked by Zara and Peter, Princess Anne's children. Harry kept vigil on the opposite side.

Harry stood guard at the opposite end of the coffin, next to Prince Andrew's daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie. Louise and James, Prince Edward's children, stood in the center.
