Aerobics

What is Aerobics?

This method of physical training aims to increase the body's capacity to absorb and utilise oxygen.
Running, jogging, swimming, and aerobic dance workouts all increase heart and lung activity.
Aerobic exercise must increase heart rate (pulse) to the exerciser's training level for at least 20 minutes and involve at least three sessions per week in order to be beneficial.

The word "aerobic" refers to activities that involve breathing, therefore how much oxygen reaches your muscles depends on how often you breathe. Your muscles move because of the oxygen in them, which gives you the power to exercise. Your body produces this energy by combining stored proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates with oxygen.
